The olive grove and vineyard

The farmhouse offers typical local Maremma produce, all grown directly on our estate.

Villa Vacasio is surrounded by olive trees – many mature (some over 100 years old), some younger – which means that we produce our own 100% organic extra-virgin olive oil.

Our vineyards include the most traditional grape varieties of our region. Ansonica, Procanico and Malvasia for our white wines; Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon for our reds. The best of Tuscan tradition in your glass.

Friut Trees

Villa Vacasio is lucky enough to have a large orchard which keeps us supplied with a vast variety of fresh, organic fruit.

Laura and Lucilla use some of this home-grown fruit to make all kinds of home-made jam, from the classics to less common conserves: pear, apricot, cherry, figs, plum and even chestnut. You can enjoy our jams at breakfast, in Laura and Lucilla’s home-made cakes or paired with tasty cheeses at dinner.

The Kitchen Garden

Roberto personally tends to the kitchen garden, growing fresh, organic seasonal vegetables which are used in Villa Vacasio’s recipes. The generosity of the land rewards our hard work with this delicious produce.
